What size is a storage container?
Each container is 5ft wide x 7ft deep x 7ft high and measures 250cu ft.
Each container is 1.53m wide x 2.13m deep x 2.13m high and measures 7.08 cubic metres.
What's the best way to pack a container?
Clockwork can provide blankets to protect your goods in storage as well as our full packing materials (link). If you make sure that everything is tightly packed and make use of the full height in order to make use of the space available.
How many containers do I need?

When can I load a container?
Our address is Unit 5, 43 Weir Road, Wimbledon, London, SW19 8UG. You can come into the warehouse and load there. We can also come to your house with the container and load it from your doorstep.
I have more stuff than I thought; how do I get another container?
This is no problem at all. You can take as many containers as you like.
Do I need to tell you how long I need to store for?
When you come in if you could let us know of the approximate length of time you will be in storage.
Can I access my storage container whilst in storage?
Yes that is no problem at all. We would require 72 hours notice in order to get your container ready for inspection.
What about an inventory list?
An inventory list is completed upon coming into store. It is a triplicate copy so one foe yourself the customer, one for your container and also one for our office files. So don’t worry if your loose or misplace your list we will always have this information available at hand for your convenience.
I have my own vehicle; can I come to your storage facility?
Yes, absolutely no problem at all.
I'm moving house - why should I store with Clockwork Self-Storage?

What exactly can I store?
You can store anything as long as it is not illegal, hazardous, inflammable, perishable, or live (such as plants). If you have any queries our friendly office staff will be able to give you further information.

How do I know someone won't tamper with or steal my possessions?
All the containers have a seal on them so the only person that breaks the seal will be you. The inventory list that is completed upon commencement of your storage period is also another means of keeping record of your items.

What's the minimum / maximum amount of time I can store for?
You can store for as little as a day, although the minimum charge is for 1 week. There is no maximum time for storage.
I might need less / more space in the future. Is this a problem?
This is no problem at all. You can reduce/increase the amount of containers you have at any time.
